And the surrounding area recruiting that you get things done so in what difficult call me. When you talk about coming from a program like northwestern that is on the rise in you've got a lot assert a lot of things there are a lot of recruit boy aspects. To that program then you come into Milwaukee obviously the UW panther really really upgraded to put a lot of money into that they've upped their marketing. They still needs some other things as far as niceties if you will. To help the program along. How do you overcome that when you're on the recruiting trail to say hey we've got this this is where you belong in in this is what we can cultivate as opposed to say some of the bigger programs that are out there where they may not BV star athlete they may be a star you go to Milwaukee to. Yet you know I think you know one of the things you talk about Asian cultures aren't aren't built that I'm a fiery young energetic. Eric coach and and I want guys that at that same passion desire that we haven't played our feet. That sell it. In bit I think Milwaukee the city itself can speak for so that the city. That they're built around very very are people. Are are working people's view and that's what I want supreme in this culture here with Milwaukee basketball. Era and you know I think. As sort of feel good they became. A noticeable story again so. How do you then as the new head coach come in and try to pick up their momentum and build off of that from what was what was really started the end of last season. Yeah are I think the staff Lester they're great job of keeping. Morale. In getting note got to play extremely hard that's what I'm immune to. And that's what I told our guys regarding the momentum or how they finished. They needed to be proud of that. But also they they need to understand that there's no silly bet. There's a great opportunity to the PO. And and change. Where they work and there's some great things with that so. I'm very excited about. Where were going I'm excited about the guy that we had been here and they're all motivated they're all hungry that's social order which. I certainly carry with me every single day. How notable what do you take away from your experience a northwestern. You know. The Colts are building. You think that the one thing that it actually Bears is in order to win you have to epic culture and not just weird. You're your roster or we're yours just the staff it needs to be our athletic department he's beating our administration. And that's what I that's I took the AP. Joked also there at northwestern was great. Probably won the rest are good around the president was always felt very visible. The administration the you know we had. A staff who Brett managers that vote. In our ops guy the mean everybody that was in all in the program India athletic. Administration. They understood that the culture that we were trying to build. And I think that's. Part of that foundation. That when you want to win you have to capitals being complacent. And that's what actually take with me and bring here. And tried to establish. And I think wants and as soon as is our guys quickly understand. Almost seem to think that some good things happen. We don't talk about culture and I thought it was interesting you brought that out one of the biggest things in culture is trust. They went from Jeter to Jordan to you how do you get these guys to look you in the eye and trust you. What I just think Jerry it would break from work and shorten them dead arm. I'm here with them out work justice art and they will in order sort of to win. You know I think he would the other part trust issues. Just what your words in your actions. I want to make sure that everyone had ownership in this university.
